Hey Kar’if Nation! We’ve broken out the most common questions we get asked into several categories: Shipping, Product, Return Policy, Billing, Order and General Questions.

SHIPPING

When will my order ship?

Your order will ship approximately 2 to 5 business days after receiving your order. The reason why this may vary depending on the Vendors you purchased from and their respective warehouse locations throughout the U.S., Canada or the United Kingdom.  

Do you ship internationally?

At the current moment we do not provide shipping internationally. This will not stay like this forever, though. We plan to expand our fulfillment capabilities to more countries globally 

Who ships my order?

Kar’if is mostly a drop-shipping operation, meaning that the Vendors we work with directly ship out their orders to you as soon as they receive it. Processing time may vary, depending on the Vendors you purchase from because some orders are handmade and crafted. If you purchase multiple items from different Vendors, you may receive each item in separate shipments. This won’t stay happening for long as we are now working on holding all product in our own warehouses. Stay tuned!  Our Vendors will use USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx and DHL for deliveries inside the United States coming from abroad. 

How can I change my shipping address once I’ve placed my order? 

You can only make changes to your shipping address within 1 hour the order is placed; Just email karifbeauty@gmail.com and our team should get back to you shortly!

PRODUCT

How can I find out information about a product?

You can find information about a product in the ‘Product Details’ tab beneath the big “Buy it Now” button. If you have any specific information about ingredients or shipping, get in touch with the Kar’if Team: karifbeauty@gmail.com 

How are products curated and sourced?

All of the products on Karifbeauty.com are curated by a special team of makeup artists, skin estheticians, hair gurus, and beauty bloggers with an extreme focus on Melanin-focused products. 

Are all brands featured on Karifbeauty.com Minority/Female Owned? 

Not all product on Kar’if are Melanin-owned, but all have been tested to ensure they work well on all women of color.

How can I ensure the product I am getting is not tested on animals?

During the curation process, Kar’if screens to ensure that all products are formulated cruelty-free. We don’t support or tolerate the hurting of any animal to create cosmetic products.

RETURN POLICY

Where can I find your return policy?

Which products cannot be returned?

The list is extensive and varies across product categories. For the most part we’ll accept returns to products that have not yet been opened. Check out our detailed return policy here. 

How can I ensure that the products I purchase qualify for returns?

You will be shown our refund policy one last time throughout the checkout process to give you the option to review prior to purchasing. Also, each product page will have the return policy link in display.

Do I have to pay for shipping if I return a product?

Yes, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund once we have received the product.

BILLING

When is my credit card charged?

Credit cards are charged immediately after your order is accepted and processed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express. We also accept payments made via PayPal, ApplePay or Amazon Pay. Unfortunately, we can not accept checks or money orders!

ORDER QUESTIONS

How long does it take for my order to be processed?

Processing time varies from 2 to 5 business days. Remember, orders must be processed before they are shipped out. We will keep finding ways to shorten the wait for you as we grow bigger and stronger!

Can I update my order after I have placed it?

No, orders can not be updated but you can cancel them and place the order again with the update you wanted to make. Shipping information, is the only thing we change 1 hour after an order is placed.

What if my promo code does not work?

If your promo code does not work, check to see that you are applying it through the terms set for the code to work. In other words, make sure you are applying it to the products, or within the time the code is advertised. If all the terms of the code is met and it still does not work, please contact the Kar’if Team: karifbeauty@gmail.com

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do you work with influencers? If so, how can I sign up?

Yes, we work with influencers on photoshoots, product campaigns and co-branded content. We do not provide free product in exchange for a review. We would rather collaborate on ideas and work on ground-shaking content! If you’re interested in working with us, shoot us an email: elsa@karifbeauty.com

I heard that sometimes you guys give out free product. How can I sign up?

Yes! We’ll give out free product to repeat customers who take our quick 4 minute quiz. This quiz helps us learn about our customers better in order to better serve them. Once completed, we’ll send you an email with all the products eligible to get for free. This email will also contain a code for you to apply to the selected product! Quiz can be found here: Enjoy!
