Face Masks You Can Create from Food You Eat

I know everyone loves clear and healthy skin, but it can be a little pricey and harsh so let’s discuss some stay at home natural remedies. Most of these little hacks can be found right inside your kitchen and are very affordable. Here are some quick and easy home remedies for your skin.   Lemon-Honey Mask Processed with VSCO with c1 preset Benefits: Honey is known to reduce inflammation of redness. It also is known to fight bacteria naturally. Lemon is a great agent for clearing dark spots.   Things you will need: 1/2 Lemon 1 tablespoon of Honey   Directions: Get a small bowl out of your kitchen and depending on the amount you need, cut and squeeze the lemon juice into the bowl. Then add a generous amount of honey to the bowl. Now MIX! Mix the lemon and honey until you get the texture mask of your taste. After achieving thickness, apply the mask to clean skin. Leave the mask on for about 15-20 minutes then rinse off with cold water. Washing your face with cold water will minimize and tighten your pores. Towel pat dry.   Brown Sugar Coconut Oil Exfoliating Mask Benefits: Brown sugar, or sugar in general is a natural exfoliator. The sugar works as beads and dig into your pores to bring out any access build up. Coconut Oil, our life saver, works as a beautiful moisturizer that adds a natural glow to the skin.   Things you will need: 1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil   Directions: Grab a small bowl and put one tablespoon of brown sugar into it followed by one tablespoon of coconut oil. Mix your ingredients to your own liking. (Be careful to not add too much oil.) Once mixed, wet your face with warm water and apply in a circular motion on your face nonstop for about 1-2 minutes. After you've done the work, let it sit in for about 2-3 extra minutes then rinse it with cold water. Towel pat dry.   Oatmeal Honey Banana Mask oatmeal and banana on table Benefits: Oats are known for their natural soothing powers. Bananas are rich in anti-oxidants and moisture, which can heal dry skin. Honey serves as an antibacterial while tightening the skin.   Things you will need: 2 tablespoons of oats 1/2 banana 1 teaspoon of honey   Directions: Get a bowl and add the oats. Next slice, cut and mash the bananas and then stir it with the oats. Add the teaspoon of honey and continue to stir. Once creamy and full of texture, apply to clean face. You can keep this mask on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. Towel pat dry.   You will love these masks!
